We went to Shan Kan village two weeks ago and checked the needed part of the road which was never paved. From the seaside village called Letkhoke Kone early we crossed the wide river with a boat. Villagers are waiting for us at the other side with motorcycles. We walked thru the mud while cycles had to be lifted We checked the road and talked with the village elders. We handed over thirty lakhs of kyats. The other bridge which needs more care is still in waiting until the raining season is completely over. It is the bridge building at a small creek on the way to Asegyi village. They will start the end of this month or the most in the middle of next month. The water level in the creek is still high.
